Appointments FAQ
How do I book an InBody scan or ECAL metabolic test?
Find your nearest clinic on the calendar above and click the location name. Each host business page has its own scheduler where you can choose a date, time, and service. If no scheduled clinic suits you, use our Request the Scan-Van form to have us come to your location.
Do I need to be a member of the gym or clinic to get scanned?
No. All scheduled clinics are open to both members and non-members of our host businesses. You do not need a membership, referral, or prior relationship with the venue – just book an appointment and show up.
How much does an InBody 970 body composition scan cost?
Pricing varies by service and location. Individual InBody 970 scans, ECAL metabolic tests, and bundled packages are all available. Current pricing is shown on each host business page when you select your appointment. Group and corporate rates are available — contact us for a quote.
How should I prepare for my scan appointment?
For the most accurate results: avoid eating for 2–3 hours before your scan, avoid strenuous exercise for 2-3 hours, use the bathroom beforehand, and wear light clothing. Remove jewellery, socks, and shoes before stepping on the scanner. Full preparation guides are available for both InBody scans and ECAL metabolic tests.
How long does a scan appointment take?
An InBody 970 scan takes approximately 70 seconds. With check-in, setup, and a comprehensive walkthrough of your results with Steve, allow approximately 20–30 minutes for an initial appointment, or 10-15 minutes for a subsequent appointment. Dual-service appointments (InBody + ECAL) take approximately 30–45 minutes.
What if there's no scheduled clinic near me?
Get Scanned operates a fully mobile service via the Scan-Van. If no upcoming clinic is convenient, you can request the Scan-Van to come to your home, workplace, gym, sporting club, or medical practice — anywhere in Greater Melbourne and Regional Victoria.
Who should not have an InBody scan?
Without medical clearance from your doctor or specialist, people with pacemakers or other implanted life-sustaining electronic medical devices should not be tested (as the scan uses low-level bioelectrical impedance). If you have a metallic implant such as a joint replacement or stent, the scan is safe — these do not affect results or safety.
Can I book scans for a team, workplace, or group?
Yes. Get Scanned provides group scanning for gyms, sporting clubs, corporate wellness programs, medical practices, and community events. The Scan-Van comes to your location with all equipment. Visit our Corporate Wellness or Fitness Industry pages for details, or contact us to discuss your needs.
